  1. I created an AVCHD project [going to burn onto a DVD-R (4.7gb)] and the total output is 4.98g so that means I can't fit it onto a regular DVD-R disc. My question is how can I remove some components that were added into the output file such as Motion Thumbnail, Created Chapters, and added subtitles without having to re-encode and do the project all over again?

With multiAVCHD is there a way to find out exactly your output file size without going through the hour(s) long encoding process to find out eventually at the end?

It would be probably be easier for you to use the assets of the from the BD you created and start a new project in mutiavchd using the main title (if it is small enough to fit on a disk on a DVD disk) this way you shouldn't have to re-encode the main movie just create new menus in multiavchd. I have not had a problem with mutiAVCHD creating projects to large for disk, what did you select as your output format AVCHD or Blu-ray?

  3. I just recently found out about the transcoding option. So What I did was put 4 movie (.mkv) files into one compilation and set the output size as DVD9 through the "Fit All" button. So if I wanted to go back and edit a few menu items I could possibly do that without having to re-encode anything including subtitles? The only thing I want to edit is background image and put headers an footers in the main menu.

  4. I also noticed that the output folders in AVCHD structure added 3 extra files that aren't necessary? Such as "Details.txt, multiAVCHD.log, & multiAVCHD.mpf". Would it affect playback support through blu-ray/software players if I added the three files?
