Hello, I am trying to install ffmpegX for the first time. I downloaded all files (mpeg2enc, mencoder, mplayer). When I run ffmpegX and it asks to locate the files, I do, and then enter my MacOSX password. I enter my password and it displays this error message: "<User> is not in the sudoers file. This incident will be reported."
Also note, before I started the install I changed my HD name to a single name without spaces. I then logged out and then back in (no luck).
Any help is greatly appreciated.

ffmpegX wants you to install and run the program when logged in to a user account that has admin privileges. The installer is trying to use the sudo command, which only works for such accounts.
Either switch to a different account (marked 'Admin'), or in System Preferences > System > Accounts, set the checkbox "Allow user to administer this computer".
