I was wondering if it's possible to update the newer components that have come out lately and use them with Multiavchd...i.e...update the newer x264 codec or any other that comes with the program. Since it hasn't been updated in a long time, but the software still works good, maybe updates of all the components it uses within its own folder might improve some things
is it possible?

Not very easily, because the switches and command lines change as x264 gets developed and new features are added. So you can't just drop in a new .exe
Dean, the developer is no longer actively developing multiavchd -
thanks for the heads up...i just assumed that you could drop the .exe in the old ones place and that would be it...oh well...maybe one day it'll be that simple
