    System requirements?

Start with 480i and work up.

USB 3.0. Requires an x58 based motherboard with onboard USB 3.0, or a USB 3.0 PCI Express card and an x58 or P55 series motherboard. Does not support USB 2.0 capture and playback. Please check the Support pages to see the full system requirements.

Yes -- semething isn't working. But you provided so little information there's no way of guessing what it is. What are you trying to capture from? What resolution? What cables? Do you have USB 3.0? Computer details?

yeah i'm sorry I just posted really quick last night....well it's probably because i'm on a laptop but I'd figure i'd try it anyways since it was purchased about 2 months ago. like I said it recognizes the shuttle but theres no video. I'm trying to capture from an Xbox ..I installed the lastest desktop video software. btw my laptop is a dell inspiron....nothing fancy. I just don't know what the limits are when it comes to being compatible.
The shuttle was passed to me from a friend who never used it because he didn't have USB 3.0 ports...if I can't use it i'll just sell it and get me a PVR.

sell it. it will never work with your laptop.

Notebooks certified for use with UltraStudio Pro and Intensity Shuttle:
    • MSI GE620
Presently there are no certified notebook computers for use with Pocket UltraScope. Testing is being conducted on several new notebook models and the results are expected soon. We will update this support note when we find new notebook models which can be reliably used with Pocket UltraScope. We advise against purchasing notebook computers for use with it until certification testing has been successfully completed.
