For some reason, my Sony Vegas Pro 10 can't open any .M2TS files.
I can import them perfectly fine, but the program completely freezes whenever I try to play the file, or even click anywhere within the video.

I'm recording it from the Hauppauge HD PVR, using all the correct settings. I can watch the videos with Windows Media Player perfectly fine.
I even tried downloading sample .m2ts files from various places online; none of them worked.

I would record in .MP4 format, but the audio sync is slightly off whenever I do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
