    I have a bunch of AVI files that I'm trying to re-mux to MKV. Most of them were fine, except a bunch of them still came back with problems with the audio being out-of-sync. Here's a log from one of the videos;

    mkvmerge v4.9.1 ('Ich will') built on Jul 11 2011 23:53:15
    'C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\EXAMPLE VIDEO.avi': Using the AVI demultiplexer. Opening file. This may take some time depending on the file's size.
    'C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\EXAMPLE VIDEO.avi' track 0: Using the MPEG-4 part 2 video output module.
    'C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\EXAMPLE VIDEO.avi' track 1: Using the MPEG audio output module.
    The file 'C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\EXAMPLE VIDEO.mkv' has been opened for writing.
    'C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\EXAMPLE VIDEO.avi' track 1: This MPEG audio track contains 133 bytes of non-MP3 data at the beginning. This corresponds to a delay of 8ms. This delay will be used instead of the garbage data.
    The cue entries (the index) are being written...
    Muxing took 5 seconds.

    Note: The video is recognized as "DX50" and audio as "MP3". Also, I tried using the audio delay option to try & speed up the ausio in the "Format Specific Options" tab, but that only slowed the audio down even further. From what I can tell, the audio is delayed by "8ms". Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    UPDATE:

    Nevermind. I found the solution. I can only sync the audio/video by selecting "Force A/V Sync" in the HD Video section of WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe.
