A/V goes slowly out of sync when using MKVmerge

Hi all,

I have read many posts on this and other forums and tryed many solutions but they didn't work.

The Problem:
Like the post said after using MKVmerge gui my audio and video goes progressevly out of sync.
I have converted my bluray to mkv using Handbrake. The MKV coming from here is good without sync/timecode problems.
I loaded the mkv to MKVmerge to place my subtitle in it. Yes i already tryed first to demux to seperate files and then remux with MKVmerge. I use 5.0.1

So i loaded the MKV, Place my subs, all options are the same as always, yes with header removal on and after creating the mkv the movie starts in sync but progressevly the audio comes later then the video. (after and hour, like 2 seconds)

I have done a lot of movies this way but i'm still a newbie at this point.

Try manually set the framerate to 23:976 for the video track in mmg.

And I would recommend using ripbot264 instead if handbrake. It can add subtitles directly when you convert the blu-ray to mkv.

thnx for your reply, I already set the framerate to 23,976 (24000/1001). The current version of handbrake can add subtitles too but thats not my point. i want to know why my A/V is not in sync after using MKVmerge and what i can do about it.
