    what is best application for capturing streaming audio (mp3) from internet radio stations and saving mp3 in original format, without re-encoding?

    You might see if any of the StreamRipper variants will work. Some stations have measures against rippers like that, though, IIRC.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    I haven't done it a lot but either Stream Transport or Stream Hijacker have worked for me when I've tried to do this.

    Tapin Internet radio player. http://www.raimersoft.com/tapinradio.aspx

    It can record streams in their original format or convert, and optionally splits into tracks.
