  1. Hi everyone...

    How should you encode this to SVCD ?

    Aspect Ratio: 16:9
    Frame Rate: 29.97 fps
    Video Type: FILM
    Frame Type: Progressive

    Should I deinterlace this ?
    I want to burn my SVCD and watch it on TV..
    Useing Tmpgenc 2.53..

    Please help !

  3. Frame Rate: 29.97 fps

    this setting is not indicative of the source framerate....

    this actually results from you NOT choosing FORCED FILM in dvd2avi...

    however, because the source video is FILM, Progressive...you SHOULD turn on FORCED FILM in dvd2avi....you'll then notice that the framerate has changed to 23.976 fps

    also...remember that 16:9 aspect ratio because you will need this info to enter in source aspect ratio in tmpgenc before you can encode properly

    also....do not "de-interlace"....only "de-interlace" if you see any horizontal lines in your rip...the best setting i've used is double (adaptive)
