  1. ok, i just got a new computer:
    1600mhz amd xp
    256 ddr ram
    asus v8200 geforce3
    40 gig hd
    ..............
anyways it is a good system, and i have windows xp and i want to put my tv card in this new system. I had the ati tv wonder in my old 266mhz machine, and capturing is not bad but it would be much better on my new system. the problem is that the tv receptoin i get with my new computer is blurry and fuzzy, it is no good at all. i had win98 on the old system, and i use the ati tv program i got with the card. has anyone else noticed this problem with win xp, or it is unrelated to that, could it be the geforce3???? i want to use the new system becuz it would be faster, nd i could create better quality files becuz i have more hd space. hope u can understand whats happening and maybe give me some info on how to fix it. thanks

  2. Which version of ATI MMC are you using for that TV Wonder card? Is it a TVWonderVE or the regular (better) TVWonder?

Which drivers are you running for that GeForce3 card?

  3. well, thanks for your help, but ive decided to just leave the card where it is, it is fine, and i dont feel like playing around with things.
on another topic, what is the best resolution and codec to capture in? ive been using picvideo mjpeg at 352x480, then use tmpgenc to deinterlace it and put it to 352x240 for vcd, but the end product looks a little bit choppy. id like to have as much quality as possible.
