Dear Friends,
I'm trying to play the Blu-ray version of "A Bridge too Far" using Corel soft-ware, version 10.0.5.349, on a Toshiba laptop that has the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Professional.
I get a little past the middle of the movie all right and then it suddenly cuts out, saying "Media not Supported".
Why would something like that occur?
Regards to all from

Silly question No 1. Even though the disk appeared to play, the laptop does have a blu-ray drive doesn't it ?
Silly question No 2. You have read my long reply from yesterday in the other topic ? A response would be appreciated. -
Dear DB83,
"Silly question No 1. Even though the disk appeared to play, the laptop does have a blu-ray drive doesn't it ?"
I don't know about "appeared to play". As far as I can see the first half of the movie did play.
Yes, the optical drive does support the playing of Blu-ray DVD's. I've been wondering if I might have a defective DVD.

I didn't see any questions or request for information in your post, so, with my thanks for your imput, I thought we were both satisfied with how the desired episodes could be arrived at in "Smiley's People".
But do you have any questions or want any further information from me on the point?
Regards

Ok. As far as this thread is concerned I have no input. It is probably a defective disk.
As for the other thread, I forget that Americans are not so polite as us Brits when it comes to saying 'Thank You' even though I solved your playback issue without resort to menus [Mental note taken for the next time I consider offering help to anyone] -

Like I said, it was a silly question. But I was equally not aware of laptops having blu-ray players not that the OP actually stated the model he had.
As for my friend's comment above, Yeah ! I have bad teeth but atleast they are all mine and 'Thank You' for correcting my grammar. -
I was just messing with ya!!!
LOL!!
I just had a flash back of when people would ask why their burners would not recognize the dvd media they were trying to burn, then we would find out they only had a cd burner!!!
Or when they would ask, if they burned cd files to a dvdr why their CD players would not play them!!!
After all, they were dvdrs burned with CD files/music!!!!
But it's the same size disc and it fits in the player!!!
Why won't it work ??
LOL!!
