Don't know too much about video cables yet. Wondering if there's a trusted site I can order a couple of these.
I have a quad screen splitter that is 6pin Inputs, but the preview feeds out the mixer are BNC.
I need somewhere legit to order from, and i saw some pictures online of the cable and it always has two bnc cables coming out of it. Wondering why that is??
thanks!

More info on the hardware would be helpful; what sort of inputs on that splitter, RF or some sort of line-level signal (RTFM)? I'll just say a BNC connector is used for an RF signal and I can't imagine what kind of video connector has 6 pins other than a proprietary one. If it's proprietary, I doubt you'll find a third party supplier for it.
You could try asking the guys at Nutech on Nielsen between Welland ave and the QE in St Kitts; they deal with video stuff. -
Here`s the info for both pieces of gear...

Power Supply DC IN 12V-24V Power Consumption 200mA (quad box only, no cameras)
Video In (1) RCA
Audio In (1) RCA, mono
Camera Inputs (4) 6 pin mini DIN
Monitor Output (2) Composite Video RCA
Audio Output (2) for each monitor
Thats what im looking at puchasing to have multiple previews on a single monitor.
The mixer i will be using uses BNC for its preview outs...

those 6 pin inputs are for security type cameras. it's composite video and power in one cable. you can get 6pin to rca composite cable connectors and then also buy rca composite to bnc connectors. try amazon.

really. I didn`t know that it carried the comp video and power in the same cable.
Now can all three wires of a Composite (that`s the three wire cable right?) cable go to a single BNC connection at the other end of the cable? -
Composite video cable is a single wire. It's actually a coax with an RCA connector. The other two wires are for audio (and both of those wires are also coax, with RCA connectors). RF cable is the same type wire (coax) with RF connectors.
You can try sites that specialize is cables, connectors, adapters, etc., such as monoprice or someone like http://www.cablestogo.com/categories.asp?cat_id=881004.Last edited by sanlyn; 20th Mar 2014 at 15:20.
