How can I get this in SVCD to fit onto 2 cd's? If it's even possible...If not, then how about 3 cds? Can someone recommend a template to use?
I don't know the right settings to use while encoding with TMPGEnc...it took me 3 cds to barely fit it as vcd. And when i burned it with Nero and watched on my standalone dvd player, the video played, but the audio stopped every other second, and repeated throught the entire movie.
And is there a way to get the SVCD's to playback and fast forward? Whenever i do that it always starts the film over again.
Sorry for all these questions, maybe someone more advanced than I could help me![]()
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Use a bitrate calculator then use 2-pass w/ TMPG. With a movie this long id shoot for 3cd's.
Saving Private Ryan has a runtime of 170min so do a 2-pass w/
Min. 300
Avg. 1586
Max. 2396
w/ an audio of 224
You can find the calcu here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/calc.htm
