hi,
i use DVDX to backup DVD's but i would like to use DVD2AVI to do that since i can get better results. But i tried using the DVD2AVI 1.76 to convert movies but i get horizontal lines when i convert using DVD2AVI. i tried to use tempeg and CCE after using the DVD2avi for producing the d2v file?. any once know how to remove the horizontal lines

The lines are there becuse the source is interlanced.
Try convert it with option DEINTERLACE
