KMPlayer acting weired with subtitles..

Hi guys,

Long time reader first time poster here. Have been tutoring myself for over sometime in the art of video editing/muxing/etc for custom archiving purposes. Thanks to the heaps of info on this site i managed to taught myself a fair amount of that knowledge. Thanks and Kudos to all you guys.

But embarrassingly i must admit what pushed me to register finally was a problem i got stuck at and honestly nothing but videohelp.com came to mind. So here i am selfishly typing my problem out . And here goes...

I use KMPlayer for most of my anime viewing. Needless to say these animes are mostly fansub rips since i am not that great with Japanese language. Till date i didn't face any issue with the mentioned player but recently i decided to use RAWS of a particular anime and borrow subtitle script from a fangroup and mux them on my own. For conformation sake i ran the anime with the script in the same folder just to check for problems before i muxed in. Fortunately apart from a slight timing issue everything was fine so i didn't touch the script. But after i muxed in the file and ran it once more on KMPlayer i ran into a problem. Here are the specifics.

and for some reason it went onto the next frame too... and stayed there for a good 2 seconds or so..



Some Details:

A) All 3 script lines courtesy Aegisub(Apologies in advance as lines were pretty long so 1 screenshot with all 3 lines instead to avoid error.):

B) To avoid jumping the gun i tested both the files with MPC HC and they all checked out just fine.

So in the end i end up with a predicament. Whose to blame? Is it KMPlayer? But it works just fine before the Muxing takes place. Is it MKVMerge? But the end product, post muxing, works flawlessly with MPC HC if not with KM. IS IT ME? Might be!.. cause i am a complete Newb and a Noob(...to some extent). But lame one liners aside, i would really appreciate if someone can help shed some light on this particular issue.
