I am not a fan of using those on line instructions.
Is there a PDF for ffmpegX and what is the url to download that file ?

Not that I could find.
Are you aware you can open a tutorial in your internet browser and use 'File>Save as' and save the tutorial in .mht format to your hard drive, then open it off line with your browser? Not .pdf, but you would have the files locally. You can also use the browser controls to zoom and if you want to click the embedded links, they will take you back to the live page. I do it with a PC all the time. Should work with Macs or Linux boxes also. From the ffmpegX site, their tutorials: http://www.ffmpegx.com/howtos.html

Almost every Mac application with a 'Print' function can save the page(s) to be printed as PDF (thanks to Apple's CoreGraphics PDF API).
You could merge multiple PDFs with e.g. Combine PDFs or PDF+PDF or Acrobat Pro, into one tutorial PDF.
