  1. Hi,
I have the AVI file and the SRT file in Hebrew.
I tried AVISUB , all worked ok but subs are not seen.
I tried AVIADDXSUBS, subs are there but fonts are not Hebrew but something strange.
I tried AutoGK but CTRL+F8 does not load any dialog box to load the SRT.

    Any help is appreciated.

If your subtitle tools allows it, try setting the text encoding to match the .srt.
If your subtitle tools support Unicode, but not custom text encodings, you could try converting the Windows-1255 or ISO 8859-8 encoded .srt to Unicode (UTF-8), using a general text editor (perhaps even Notepad).

Your player that interprets the text subs should have access to a Hebrew font (or a font that includes Hebrew glyphs, such as all-in-one Arial Unicode) to render the subs correctly.

  3. In the sub tool I chose hebrew for language and character set. Also in all the programs that allow choosing.
    still no good.
I tried VDM' It works for the subs but audio is not in place, though it was ok before.
What about the CTRL F8 problem?
