I downloaded a movie that was supposed to have subtitles I burned it to a DVD and the subtitles don't work. It's a foreign movie in which I need them. I'm not sure where to get the subtitles from and I need help on adding them to the movie once I get them. Any help is appriciated.

What format was the movie? For most Xvids or similar off the net, the subs are in a separate file. What program did you use to convert the movie to DVD? Not that many programs handle subs for DVD use.
If you look to the 'stickies' at the top of this forum, most of your other questions may be answered.
There are several sites online for subtitle files of popular movies.
And renosgurl85, in the future, please use a more descriptive title for your posts that reflect the subject. I will change yours this time.

They're VOB files I read through a tutorial for the past 2 days and I tried following every instruction but nothing seemed to work. I'm positive I didn't miss anything. I used this tutorial before
