I downloaded a movie that was supposed to have subtitles I burned it to a DVD and the subtitles don't work. It's a foreign movie in which I need them. I'm not sure where to get the subtitles from and I need help on adding them to the movie once I get them. Any help is appriciated.

What format was the movie? For most Xvids or similar off the net, the subs are in a separate file. What program did you use to convert the movie to DVD? Not that many programs handle subs for DVD use.

If you look to the 'stickies' at the top of this forum, most of your other questions may be answered.

There are several sites online for subtitle files of popular movies.

Try vsrip and see if it can find any switchable subtitles on the dvd.
