    Sorry if already posted about this but I can't find it and Im getting tired and frustrated, but what programs can you use to convert .tivo files to .MKV or .MPEG (high quality)? I have kmttg but the video quality is choppy during parts of "motion". ugh... HELP!

    TiVo Decoder will extract MPEG-2 content from .tivo files at original quality.

    I have had this program before and it didn't work for me. Somehow your version works. Thank a lot. Anything for turning .TIVO into .MKV?

    Tivo has a desktop software called "TiVo DeskTop". Their website said it can save your TiVo DVR in your computer. Check TiVo DVR to Computer. But I don't know what the format it is after the software save the record in your computer.
