    Hi all,

I have the video in .m2v done in Premiere Pro and .ac3 by Protools and Dolby Digital encoding.

May I know which program allow me to mux them together and burn out as 1 DVD?
I tried using tsmuxer but my audio stream is not recognise, hence by using .wav is working well.

But, I cannot burn it using Nero DVD which require me to give information like .ifo and such. (they recognise avi and mpg)

Hence, importing .wav on premiere pro and render out as .mpg

While using Nero vision, the final burnt copied shown on TV is totally unacceptable.

So I wanted to know which program is best for my solution?
Mux it, and then burn using .m2v and .ac3 or just .mpg to my final product on DVD.

    appreciated.

I did notice that. So, do I render out as individual? Video and audio separated or together?

    Pls advise

  8. yes m2v and ac3. it looks like your mpv bitrate is way too high for dvd. 9mbps is about the max you should use. yours looks like it's 18.5mbps.

    Thanks minidv2dvd.

Let me re render and give it a try later on. Hoping it work this time.

  10. Also the M2V is 1280x720. You'll never get a DVD out of that.

Funny, everyone likes to use these fancy and expensive programs without a clue as to what they're doing or how to use them.

Thanks all. My job is just audio editing. Dealing with the authoring is my first time but I really appreciate everyone input here. I really learn a lot from you all.

    Thanks! it really works.
    The authoring works perfectly fine.

Now I have the entire VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS, how am I suppose to burn out?

Because I did some testing by burning it using NERO DVD VIDEO, it does not seem to play back via DVD player.
Is there any other alternative way to burn out the video file on DVD?

Is it due to 1280 x 720 issue?

How do I resize the whole video format to 720 by 576? I tried changing it but quality seem to degrade by a lot.

  14. render to dvd spec mpeg-2 in premiere. 720x576 is all that's allowed, and make it under 9mbps. you are correct it won't look as good as 1280x720.

Can I use TMPgenc to get the resolution back? The quality is literally bad if I force the image size to by 720 x 576.

Look like I have to make do it.

Is it due to my size is 1280 by 720, thus making the DVD player are unable to play back?

  16. If it's really 1280x720, then it wasn't authored for DVD (unless you used some screwy program that allows you to make non-compliant DVDs, or reencodes it first to make it compliant) and isn't a DVD. Maybe you just muxed it into an MPG. I don't know. And if it's interlaced you can't just resize it to 720x576 without doing it in some interlace-aware way. If it's progressive then yes, you can do a straight resize. Rather than creating a video once at 1280x720 and then reencoding it for 720x576, you should encode it once for DVD at 720x576. Additional reencoding leads to further quality degradation.

  17. read - what is dvd - https://www.videohelp.com/dvd

start with the original source and render to 720x576 directly. don't try to resize the 1280x720. everytime video is re-encoded it gets worse.

    thanks.

The reason i gotten 1280 by 720 should be my video (which is photo stop motion). I had it crop that way at the start. =(

Since I am using Premiere Pro now, can i re import the video using the fresh 720 by 576 setting? How to I import the whole workfile as it is like as before on other project?

  19. use the same project, just choose to render to dvd spec mpeg-2.
