I've seen several threds regarding this, but I have yet to see any conclusion. I'm just trying to follow the guide on how to convert to svcd the "Fool Proof" way.
I have windows XP, downloaded the latest vdub today, and got CCE 2.50 because I thought it was the latest one that supports frame serving
I get to the point where vdub is frame serving and I open CCE, right click, add, view all files, select my .vdr, click open. Then nothing happens. the file doesn't appear in the CCE window. I've searched vcdhelp up and down and can't seem to find a solution. I have installed the avi frame server thing from the vdub setup. I have tried to run CCE as win NT4 service pack5 from winXP compatability tab, but nothing seems to work!
Any ideas as to what to try next?
misc: I have a p3 600MHz, 512M ram, plenty of hdd space. The file I'm trying to convert is a divx file. so I installed divx 3.11. I even tried divx5, but that didn't seem to help either.
