mk2vob and DTS

Hi there this is my first post so bare with me.
The problem i am having is i use mk2vob so split my movie files to 4gb so i can put them on my e hard drive the video is fine but i have no audio. I watch my movies threw my ps3 then wich is conected to my VIDEOLOGIC DIGITHEATRE surrond sound system connect with a optical connection. i leave the always transcode unticked because i have the surrond system but still no audio but if i tick it i get audio but it is not DTS but AC3 is there a setting what ive missed some were. mkv2vob has a bug for DTS. Even in case for successful trans-coding, DTS will be played choppy.
in fact, it (windows) requires professional DTS decoder.
try using videoredo or womble (not really sure how they will handle DTS) to slit movie to 4gb.
