I lose MKV thumbnails when remuxing with MKVToolnix!

Recently I've been remuxing MKV files to add subtitles and chapters to them, before the muxing process explorer shows the MKV's thumbnails as normal, but for some reason after the remux explorer shows no thumbnail from the video as it previously had done. Now all I get is a Media Player Classic icon (as its the software I play MKV's in).

I use the DivX Plus codec pack to view MKV thumbnails and details in windows explorer. I have tried reinstalling both the DivX codec pack and the K-Lite codec pack but this hasn't helped.

Am I doing something wrong in MKVToolnix that is causing me to lose the thumbnails??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I still haven't found a solution...

And I'm slightly glad that someone shares my problem and that its not just me lol, but then not wanting other ppl to have the problem because its an annoying thing to have!
