Hi,
I tried to convert DVD / VOB file to mp4 or mkv file to reduce the size. Finally, I land to audio sync problem. Video leads the audio. I tried with "shift" option in Avidemux. this leads some other problem that, few places audio leads and few places video leads.
I tried with so may thread in forum. Few thread mentions non-Linux software for conversion. I am using only UBUNTU 9.10 in my desktop.
Kindly suggest me (possible only with Avidemux) the procedure to sync audio with video.
I tried all above steps with "avi" format selection (hope this is called container) only.
Further, If I try "MP4" or "MKV", i get the message that, selected frame is not start off frame, move pointer A. some were I read that this can be solved by used clicking double arrow. But, not happened.
Kindly let me know whether, I need to install some codec???
If I want to extract second audio track (DTS) from the VOB file using Avidemux, what is the file extension to be followed....
Please help me........
With advanced thanks,
Prabath
