  1. MPEG2-TS
    AC-3 5.1
    Compression mode 4:2:0
    Resolution: 1920x1080i @ 29.97 fps
GOP configuration 15 frames in size with 2B frames between reference frames
    Black level 0 IRE
PCR refresh rate 37ms accuracy 5ppm
PMT 480, PCR & Video PID 481 and Audio PID 382

I am using TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress. When I chose MPEG2-TS I don't get an option of AC-3 Audio. I get the option of Dolby Digital, but when I try to encode the file it says that it is not supported. Additionally I don't get any options for PMT, PCR, Video & Audio PID.

Do I need additional software, or is there a standalone software that can replace TMPEGEnc.

    Thanks

    dolby digital=ac3.

You could use hcencoder to just convert the video and separate encoder for ac3 like aften. Then make a ts with tsmuxer. But I guess you are looking for all-in-one solution, maybe mainconcept reference, cinema craft encoder....kinda expensive though.

You might try installing AC3 ACM Decompressor and see if that helps. If you need a bit more complex authoring program, maybe GUI for dvdauthor

  5. I was able to create a separate dolby digital audio file so I can mux it back through tsmuxer. However, I am still at loss for configuring the minute details like
    Compression mode 4:2:0
    Resolution: 1920x1080i @ 29.97 fps
GOP configuration 15 frames in size with 2B frames between reference frames
    Black level 0 IRE
PCR refresh rate 37ms accuracy 5ppm
PMT 480, PCR & Video PID 481 and Audio PID 382
The resolution of 1920x1080i ... should i use interlace, I was using progressive.
I don't get any settings to set the PMT, PCR and Video & Audio PID... any software to configure those?
