Are there any settings on my Hauppauge HD PVR (audio and video) that support cineform's neoscene. I want to be able to use the capture setting in noescene to directly convert but it says "no capture devices detected" and when I try to just convert it says "format not supported in neoscene"
Thanks in advance for the help.

The Hauppauge HD PVR outputs h.264.
I think Neoscene is limited to camcorder formats specifically DV, HDV, AVCHD and SDI.
AVCHD uses a form of h.264 for video but the format is very specific. You would need to convert the PVR output file into AVCHD. I'm not quite sure the best way to do this. I'm not a big user of either.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

You might try the m2ts output for the hauppauge for avchd. That is the ps3 setting on the recording mode. That might be your best bet. It also has a ts and a mp4 container option. Try a sample with each file form and see which one the program likes best.
For converting hd pvr to avchd use the supplied arcsoft total extreme software. You can output directly to the harddrive and without a menu. Than you can import that folder into your program. (this is after the file is recorded).Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
