    What would be the best quality app to convert this AMAZING (and I mean AMAZING looking mp4 file) to DVD without much (if any possible) loss in quality? I usually use ConvertX for the speed.. but is there something that would give me even better results quality wise, dont care about speed as I have a Quad Core, 4GB RAM system running Vista 64bit.

    You will lose quality. 1280x720 pixels to 720x480pixels....

    But I would use avstodvd instead of convertxtodvd.

    i have tried avstodvd but couldnt get the thing to work for some reason.. do you have to install any seperate encoders with that? I would start the convert process and it would just hang (not responding) on the encoder window no matter which of the 3 I choose from the preferences window. Are there settings I should change or set in that program? What would give me the best quality in that program?
