Hi Guys
Video conversion is all pretty new to me, previous camera was Hi-8!!
Just bought a new Sanyo HD camcorder Xacti CA-100 Full HD 1920x1080.
Capable at recording in these modes:-
Full-HD 1920x1080 60 field/s
Full-SHQ 1920 X 1080 30fps
HD-HR 1280 X 720 60fps
HD-SHQ 1280 X 720 30fps
I have recorded some test videos at Full-HD in MPEG4 standard. (1920x1080 60 field/s)
Playback on PC is quite jerky.
I have a copy of avidemux and would like to use this to enhance the quality of the videos I record.
Q1: Is the best resolution I should be recording at? Playback will almost always be via PC onto HD TV's.
Q2: Advice on best settings in avidemux to get the most out of my recordings? (Want to produce MKV files at end of conversion)
Thx in advance for help/advice given.
