Hello,
I have just started taking some online college classes and one of the requirements is to have a webcam setup so that I can do a video 'report' for my essays and such. I have a problem, I bought the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema, but it will not let me save the videos to anything but my 'C:' Drive. My 'C:' drive is almost completely full, which is why I have a 350 gig Data drive. I have tried 3 other webcam products I found on the web but they do not detect my webcam. I fear I will not have enough space on my C: drive for the length of a video essay. I am not sure what to do. Is there anyway to edit this software in the registry somewhere to let me change the save drive? Or is there a software solution that you would reccomend me trying? I am obviously looking for something free (since this thing is brand new) but I would be willing to pay a small amount if there is nothing free that will work. Thanks in advance for any advise.

If you're adventurous and have some familiarity with the registry, you might take a look there. FIRST back up the registry before even looking. Type in ' regedit ' in a command window, then use regedit's search functions to look for the name of the software. If you're lucky, you might find a entry that shows the 'C' drive association. Changing it may or may not work.
But others here may be more familiar with that webcam and have some specific recommendations.
And if your 'C' drive is almost completely full, you should think about cleaning it out.
