  1. Sorry if I'm in the wrong place or anything, I'm a total n00b when it comes to stuff like this, so please bear with me.

I have a big problem, but I just can't resolve it. I'm trying to convert an AVI file to a WMV. I'm using Any Video Converter and everytime I convert the video, the video results in a messed up, jitty screen and defeaning sound, it's like a loud "dzzzzzrztzzszzt", I can't describe it, really.

Anyways, I tried to convert with other programs but it's just about the same. I also downloaded a few codecs, but nothing seems to work. All I want is converting a few AVI's to WMV to upload to YouTube.

I'm a loser when it comes to the computer, really. I'd appreciate any help you guys could offer me.

If it's of any help, here are the video details:

    Length: 00:00:46
    Width: 240
    Height: 160
    Datarate: 17285 kBit/s
    Overallbitrate: 18696 kBit/s
    Single bitrate: 60 FPS

    Audio bitrate: 1411 kBit/s

    Size: 81,1 MB
Thanks in advance to everyone who can help me. :S

You don't have to convert it to WMV. Just upload the AVI and see how it turns out.

  3. That's also a problem. Whenever I upload an AVI, it results in the same as if I'd convert it. I tried it uploading on YouTube and on Veoh, both with the same, messed up result.

Besides, if I could cut down the video size atleast in half, that'd be great, uploading a file of such a size takes long time...
