I have now managed to install ATI MMC7.1, the ATI software is working great, but I can no longer get VirtualDub to work. When I start VD, and select Capture AVI, I get "error 418, capture driver is not properly installed". Anyone had this prob, or know what is going on? I can only assume it's to do with MMC7.1, because VD used to work just fine on my ATI AIW 128Pro, and I have a great collection of captured VCD's to prove it. ( I knew an update from ATI would be trouble ).

    Thanks,
    Tool Man.

  2. It because mmc 7.1 does'nt support video for windows. Personally I prefer to use MMC6.3 its a lot less hassle and works well with Vdub. If you have to use 7.1 there is a VFWWDM wrapper available. Just search for it on this site.
