    Hi this is all new to me.
    Im having trouble making a svcd with TMPGEnc. i have allready done a vcd which worked fine :) but when i come to encode a svcd it says i need MPEG-2 software installed on my system to playback dvds. I allready got Power DVD installed, so dont understand this!
    proberly realy obvious but this is my first attempt!

    I had the same problem and all I did to resolve it was to do a search in Google.com for "MPEG-2 CODEC DOWNLOAD". I know you already have the codec, but if you dowload it and install it, it will probably work just fine, it did for me!
