    My computer (with Windows XP) has started to run slower. I have ccleaner, super antispyware, and malware bytes, as well as spybot. I ran registry optimizer and it said it found almost 300 issues. But to fix them you have to buy a subscription. Is this just a money maker or is there something I can download (preferably free) that I can use to fix these.
    Thanks

    Advanced system care 3 is free for home users and it makes backups before anything is done.
    Eusing Free Registry Defrag... personal favorite.

    However, as time moves forward the following factors take place which reduce performance.

    1: Hard drive age and work load ... this includes mft and bitmap table fragmentation.
    2: Outdated applications.
    3: Invalid registry entries ... those created by installed software or replaced by other.

    Registry cleaner alone is not sufficient.
    Next to the Advanced System Care, there are some other total solutions:
    * Glary Utilities (freeware)
    * TuneIT (payware)
    * System Mechanic (payware)
