  1. Hi, when I play a video with fast motion scenes, there are lots of artifacts. Its like diagonal stairs moving downwards.

    Here is some samples:




    On these two samples, the background is very fast moving and thus these artifacts are present.

    I tried to disable hardware acceleration and hardware deinterlacing in PowerDVD8 without success.

    It's very annoying because these artifacts are also present if I connect an external projector for a public demonstration. I have some video presentations with fast motion. But if I take a screenshot these artifacts are not presents.

    What can be the problem ?????

    My Laptop is Pentium 4 M 1,6 Ghz
    Graphic card is ATI Radeon Mobility 7500

    Does it only happen in powerdvd?
    Does it happen with all video files?

    Try for example VLC, MPCHC, SMplayer, etc.

    This problem is not on the video. It plays fine on another computer with the same PowerDVD
