One problem I have with any conversion software is the resulting audio is always too low. Yes, you can blast it louder with an amp or home theater sytem but I don't have either. Part of the problem might be my PVP (ARCHOS 504) which is notorious for very low volume.
I had been using xmediarecode and boosting the volume which worked ok, but in the newer version the boost doesn't seem to do much; I've tried different codecs mp3, aac, ac3 etc but they are all still low. Low also playing on PC, for example playing a audio song through MPC at a nice volume results in a barely audible soundtrack in a video.
Opps, to the point. Is there a place in the latest version of staxrip to increase the volume, or I think sometimes in called gain boost or whatever. I want louder sound.
Thanks In Advance
