  1. Don't beat me for this question.
I cannot convert from dvd to avi with program dvd2avi version 1.76.
After I have loaded vob files with dvd2avi what is necessary to do to save as avi file?.
When I click on save avi I never get an playable avi file.

    Thanks

but could you please show me the paragraph where to find something about creating AVI files?
All I can read is how to create mpeg files.

    Thanks

Well, there is no special DVD2AVI guide, because probably no one (except OGO himself) uses DVD2AVI to save an .avi. DVD2AVI is rather a frameserve tool. And you have to read several guides.
The method, that I recommend is DVD2AVI>VFAPI>VitrualDub/nundub.

Maybe you want to use Avisynth filters instead of VirtualDub filters. Then frameserve with dvd2avi and Avisynth to VirtualDub/nundub.

Sure you can use DVD2AVI to convert to avi, but you can not add subs, you can not resize (use v1.82 modified by OGO instead), you can not add any filters.
If you save the avi, just select an output file name and a codec, configure the codec and that's all.
