Mp3 player?

Hi everybody

I was thinking to get a mp3 player and I wanted to ask you guys, if apple's ipod is the best mp3 player? I was thinking about the Apple iPod nano 8GB Fourth generation.
What would be your top 3 brands for mp3 players?
Can I find mp3 players with wi-fi?

If you want the perceived best go with apple.

I don't personally like their stuff but honestly I have never owned an Apple Ipod - any version. It should suit your needs.

However I'm sure you can find cheaper alternatives that will do most of what you need.

I like the Zune a whole lot. I have the older 30gb model. What I like is the Zune pass. For 15.00 a month I can download an unlimited amount of music. Plus i get 10 free song credits a month that I can keep and burn to disc.

I'd also look into sansa. I think they make some interesting products as well.

If you want subscription based services apple doesn't have it. You have to pay per song.
