Converting my DVD's to DivX

Hi All

I'm in the process of converting my DVD collection to DivX to store on my NAS. That way we can get access to the movies from all over the house.
I've bought the DivX codec and the TMPGenc thing and they work very well, even let's me put subtitles on them automatically, very easy stuff.
But I've encountered one movie that put's up a hassle so far.
TMPGenc shows all the videoclips, except clip 18, which is the movie.
How do I get to that movie, and still retain the subtitles as embedded images (I would rather not use Sub2Divx, as some of our players don't like that DivX format).

Use DVD Shrink to re-author with just that title and no compression, then encode from that

The simplified method would be dvddecrypter --> iso then open in fairusewizard to convert vixd/divx. Works well for me.
