Problems converting DIVX files to DVD

Since upgrading to the new 6.7 DIVX codec, I have found that Ulead movie factory 3 will no longer accept Divx avi's. When I try and add them Ulead seems to lock up and the little Divx icon keeps appearing and dissapearing in the system tray, as if its trying to work but somethings wrong.

I used system restore to revert to the previous codec and now all works well again. So how come problems occured when I upgraded?

Also, as a side issue, how come Divx files take so long to convert? Mpegs usually only take an hour or so, I had to leave the PC on overnight and well into the following morning just to convert a 40min 300mb video to DVD?

I guess you have to ask ulead why it wont work and hopefully will they release a fix for it.

Have you tried convert to dvd with something else? Ulead is not the fastest around. Maybe try ConvertXtoDVD but you can't make that nice menus then.
