I have a dual-mode monitor that can display both digital and analog signals. Well, at least it could up until some driver problem with Vista and now no digital signal is being delivered out of my laptop. I can connect the monitor via VGA and it works fine. But the original way I had it connected, via DVI, no longer works. I will appreciate any suggestions on where I can focus in trying to troubleshoot this. Thank you!

What brand and model of laptop? Do you know what video chip it has?
You would need to supply more information before anyone could hazard a guess.

Can't you do a system restore to before the driver problem and then don't re-install that driver?
