Okay, I was working on a project with YouTube-downloaded videos (mpeg2 I believe) with Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0
My computer gets a virus, and I backup all of my project files, and I reformat my hard-drive. I re-install Premiere Elements 7.0, and I open up my project. None of the clips are working. They're all "offline". Every time I try to locate one of the videos, it says "Add Media Failure: This type of file is not supported, or the required codecs are not installed."
I tried making a new project and importing the videos.
I tried re-installing Premiere.
I have the same codecs I had before (DivX and K-Lite Codec Pack. I've tried older versions, and I've tried doing it without the codecs. No dice)

You may need an FLV splitter and FLV1, VP7, and h.264 decoders. MediaInfo or GSpot can tell you what you need.
