    Hello.

I formatted my Windows XP and I reinstalled the programs.
Now, when using the guide of Ryan ( http://www.ryan.com.br/virtualdub_en.htm ) in the window VirtualDub-Video-Fast recompression-Compression does't appear the option Xvid or Divx Codec.
How must I proceed to obtained these lines to select the respective codec?

    Thank you very much.

    Cheers.

I had installed ffdshow as you said before and I thought it had the codecs in question.
But now with your xvid codec and divx codec, the problem is resolved.

I have another problem : the original file has 664MB and the new one has 460MB. How can I force the new one to have the same length to have better quality?

Thank you, Baldrick, once more for your always desired helps

    Cheers.
