Burning project to disk problem

I've tried several times to burn a project using Premier Elements but when I get to 85% I'm getting a transcoding error, does anyone know what that is and how to fix the problem.

What happens when you render to the HDD instead ?
What is your source footage (video and audio) ?
What does the error actually say - message ? error code ?

I tried rendering the footage and that worked ok with no problems I'm using Video footage and dubbed music over the top for the majority of the project, the error message is "Transcoding error" and it is coming up at the same position of the "encoding media" step

When I render is that rendering the hole movie project or just the start..??

I think I might have fixed the problem, I deleted a slide show of some photo's and the DVD burnt without a problem. Thanks Gunslinger for taking the time to answer my question..
