  1. Hi,
I currently have HD2600XT graphic card on my Gigabyte P43 DS3L with Quad Intel Q6600 2.4GHz, 4GB ram, and runing with vista 64 bits.

I mainly use this pc for watchinng HD movies only.

Would I benefit from upgrading to new ATI 4600 series HD4670? Would I see any different if I upgrade to this card

My HDTV is 61 inches and native resolution is 720P only.

    Thanks for any comments

I'm using a ATI HD3870 which did help with my HD playback. But if you aren't getting stuttering or jerky motion when the camera pans, you may have all you need. The upper end cards seem to be more for gaming than video. I'm feeding a 1080p projector (1920 X 1080) for MKV and Blu-ray from my computer.

I have no problem playback HD 1080p video content from mkv files or other formats on my computer since I upgrade my pc from Dell GX280 2.8GHz to this new motherboard and Quad 2.4 CPU.

I just would like to know if it is worth to upgrade to new card since my board can support PCIx 2.0 now.

On ATI site they said this card does upscale the video signal to HD video quality.

    Thanks
