    I have movie in video ts I will cut it up with virtualdub. I need to edit on a pc but play on a mac.
    I need to convert between avi and mov.

    There are a few choices but what do wise members of videohelp think?

    Do you have to convert it? VLC has a Mac version and should play most formats.

    For MOV/QuickTime formats, maybe MPEG StreamClip or Cinematize, or in our tools section, just do a search using 'quicktime' or 'mov'.

    There are also a handful of mplayer variants (for OS X) that might also be able to play the AVIs. I'll also mention Quicktime with the Perian component installed, though I don't know what codecs were used in the AVIs, so I couldn't say for sure.
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
