    Hi,

I am searching for a plugin or something that will give an old analog scramble channel effect. Is there a way to modified the scaning process vertically and horizontally.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You might be able to get what you want from a combination of effects from this virtualdub plugin (also callable form avisynth) from MSU : http://www.compression.ru/video/noise_generation/index_en.html

  5. In my experience, analog TV scrambling results in a very wavy picture with chroma shifts, not static noise. Something like this (done with warp and chroma shift filters in a paint program):

but more extreme and more random.
