i have problem after authoring couple of vobs using dvdshrink.

i have 3 chapter from some series which i ripped from dvd in order to add subtitles.
since there was problem with the structure (i think) of the dvd i couldnt add them back with menu using vobblanker and i decided to leave them without menu, so in order to join them toghter to 1 dvd i chose dvdshrink , chose reauthor and back it up and burned it .

here is the result that i get .
when entering the first disc with episode 1-4 the disc had stucked, i downloaded the latest version of dvdshrink do the process again burn it and it was ok.
than i did the same to episodes 5-7 and same thing happend. the disc stucked. i did the process again , burned it again but this time same thing happened the disc stucked.

anyone know what could be the problem , or can suggest different method to join the episodes (something easy to use like dvdshrink) ?

im using good quality dvd+r verbertime.

  2. dvdshrink isn't a burning program, plus it's old and not updated any more. let dvdshrink write the video_ts and audio_ts folders to your hard drive and and use imgburn in build mode to burn them to dvdr.

If you are using DVD Decrypter for burning, it's almost as out of date as Shrink. Shrink is still a good program for 'shrinking' down the size of a DVD, but, as mentioned, ImgBurn is a much newer and more reliable burning program for newer burners and DVD media. Written by the author of DVD Decrypter.

And many newer DVDs need a ripper like DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip before processing with Shrink, though that doesn't sound like your problem.

  7. What version of dvdshrink are you talking about? There are a few dozen.

Huh? Folks here only talk about the real/original DVDShrink 3.2.
