    Hi,

I have a quite strange error when it comes to subtitles on a DVD I have burned. This is what happens:

I rip the movie to my hdd to edit the subtitles in dvdsubedit. Usually I alter the height of them, and remove hard-of-hearing subs if there are any. Then I burn them to a blank dvd and watch them on my TV by using the PS3 as a DVD player.

But in a few movies, some subtitles are not rendered properly. Instead of the subtitle being displayed, the whole screen goes pink that second it is supposed to be displayed. This only happens with a few subtitles in these movies, not all.

When I play back the DVD on my PC with PowerDVD however, the error is no longer present.

I was wondering if anyone knows what this might be caused by?

You should probably try to use the latest DVDSubEdit version:
    http://download.videohelp.com/DVDSubEdit/Downloads/DVDSubEdit1.4107.zip

and see if the problem persists... If it does, I might have to take a look at your examples...
