Epson V300 scanner blurred scans

I have owned this model scanner for few years now, over time i started getting dust on the underside of the glass for some reason, so i pulled the top off and cleaned the internal glass and the glass only , i didn't touch anything else....... the problem now is, no matter what i scan, what settings i use , everything is blurred...... i have nearly used every dpi range but everything is blurred......i think if i took it away to get fixed they will charge me the same price as a new one... any help? do you think the light bulb is damaged? the quality of the scan is still great, no marks or lines but everything is blurred.. thanks

my guess would be you didn't get it back together properly. iirc that one has snap together clips that need a fair bit of force to get all the way closed.
