Hi
I have an odd problem that I wondered if anybody had come across. I'm not really a novice on conversion but have never had this. When I set a file size in either Gordian Knot, Handbrake, Fairuse Wizard for say 350MB then it always produces a file a few MB too small, no matter what program I use or codec. I even have this after a fresh install of my OS (Vista). Up until a few days ago eveything ran perfect.
Any ideas would be welcome as I'm a bit bemused as to how to fix it. Is it maybe a Hard Drive structure issue?
Thanks in advance
Daz

Yes I always do use 2 pass and as I said, up until last week I had no issues at all. Then suddenly all my files end up being 1 or 2 mb short depending on the program I use. One odd thing I've noticed is that AutoGK is the only one that still produces the correct file sizes. Can't work out why GK and the others seem affected by it and AutoGK isn't.

None taken.
However if something on my system has changed from one week to the next I just thought I'd put the question out there and see if anybody had an idea as to why. That's all. I was always one of those annoying children that asked why all the time!!!
